THE first signs of a Democratic revolt against Senator Hillary Clintons much-anticipated march on the White House are emerging in the American South, where one of the partys most successful state governors called last week for Democrats to consider other candidates.
In a calculated snub of Clintons accelerating bandwagon, Governor Philip Bredesen of Tennessee warned that voters were kind of dissatisfied with the Democrats current presidential contenders and that Clinton would face an uphill road to win the White House.

Hillary well knows that she doesn't need to beat other contenders, she just needs to destroy them. When there's only one choice on the ballot, it really won't matter how anybody feels about her, will it?

Mush.
If Hillary wants it, no other Dem has the name recognition or clout or financial backing or political machine or FBI files to stop her.
The GOP is the party that is in trouble for '08. None of their known-names has the name recognition or clout or financial backing or political machine or FBI files to stop her.

Why, Oh why,
...did JFK Jr's plane just have to go down just as he was to announce, from the Albany New York Capitol steps, his own run for a U.S. Senate Seat that HILLARY was already running for..?

Now now, it's pure coincidence that so many people close to Hillary or in direct competition with her have met their end in small plane crashes. Really.

The Democrats problem, Bredesen believes, has little to do with bullets or the Bible. The point Im trying to make is that youve got to stand up for some clear things, he said. ..... (snip) .... In a recent speech to southern Democrats in Atlanta, Bredesen summed up the Republican party platform as follows: A traditional view of family, no abortion, no gay marriage, a central role for faith, gun over the mantel, low taxes, an assertive and combative view of American interests abroad. He then challenged his colleagues to sum up the Democratic party in less than 30 words. Nobody could oblige
I'd say Mr Bredesen understands the Dem's problem very well !

Somebody, somewhere, has a copy of her Master's thesis and is just waiting...

[All those psych couches filled with the downtrodden Kerryites in Nov 2004 will be replaced with GOPer in Nov 2008 if Hillary does win. But she will definitely run, unless something severe happens between now and then.]

Somebody, somewhere, has a copy of her Master's thesis and is just waiting... Do you really think someone is just sitting on that? Why not stop her now then?

There's no way Hillary can take the South and the Dems have to have the south for a win.
To: TomGuy
The board had many folks screaming that Hillary was absolutely, no-doubt-about-it going to run in '04; that she was going to be drafted at the convention; that she was going to ride in and save the Dem party and announce her candidacy.
Pure bunkum. Hillary can do whatever she wants; it won't matter. She won't be their nominee in '08.

She'll have to kill Howard Dean, I think. Hitlery doesn't have her boy-toy in the National Rathole anymore. I don't think Dean will be as...cooperative...toward her. Heh-heh.

War, politics and love making, timing is everything.

Give the governor a little time, and he'll accept the VP slot on her ticket.
He's just attempting to get his name on the national stage.

And already everyone seems to have totally forgotten about her long stream of denials that she would run for President.
