COMMENTARY Connie Schultz of The Plain Dealer, Cleveland

The last time the (liberal rag birdcage liner) PD won the prize was in 1953 for a political cartoon.
(WOW! I'm impressed .)

Does anyone know if there is a single conservative in this rat pack?

Commentary should have gone to Mark Steyn, and fiction to Dan Rather.

And they still haven't revoked their Pulitzer to reporter Walter Duranty for covering up Stalin's rape of Ukraine.

I do know that Shanley's 'Doubt' is about a child molesting priest scandal. How 'timely'.

Claudia Rosett was robbed - I don't get it how could the LA Times [please!] get a Pulitzer when Claudia Rosett was the first one to really hammer home the Oil For Food scandal and she's been relentlessly following the story since Day one, she's gotten the initial scoops time and time again and duh, an important international story, I haven't even heard of most of the writers who won

how do we complain to the Pulitzer people, this is a travesty

No question Claudia Rosett was the reporter of the year. But not a likely candidate from the leftists who manipulate the Pulitzer Prize.

It's ironic that the LA Times was rewarded, since they just fired their boss for doing such a lousy job these past few years.
