To: beyond the sea
Perhaps ten years ago or so, before the advent of Fox News, I watched Larry fairly often. Though he was never an in-your-face interviewer, I found he had an effective style, putting guests at ease but still in his own way managing to ask the most important, tough questions.

But Larry seems to have really lost it. I truly felt bad for the man. He seemed lost - grasping for things to say, then just blurting them out. I sensed that Fonda was shocked by his debility.

I did not see that interview, but I saw him about a week ago for a few minutes and he did seem a little hesitant, like he didn't know what to do next. I don't know, perhaps he should just retire.
