I love the $2 bill. I get them from my bank all the time. The $2 is the new $1. I use them at convenience stores, valets, etc. Viva $2 ! Can you still get the $1 coins with the Indian babes picture on it, whos name I cannot spell?

I tried to use one of those Sacajawea $1 coins at a fast food drive through once. The cashier thought it was a 50 cent piece.

The Eisenhower Dollar coin is an oddity. Probably not many young people have seen one. I collect them and would never spend one. Although it is legal tender, it does not look real.

Just don't try and pay at the drive-thru with a Sacajawea coin....the kids have never seen 'em before. Your food will get cold while it all gets sorted out.

Oh yea! I get them all the time from the vending machines at work. Definitely not as easily confused with a quarter like the Susan B Anthony.
I've always loved using the $2 bill. I just got one the other day. First one in a while. I'm glad to see that they aren't out of circulation yet.

"Sacagawea." And yes, you can get them. Wal-Mart gives them out, and any bank will. My car wash gives them as coin change when you put paper money in the machine for a wash.
I took a bunch of them with me to Mexico last trip, and was giving them to the little kids that sell gum and dolls and stuff. One tiny little girl, about 3 years old, looked at it, and took it to her mother and her mother sent her back to me to get some "real money." LOL!

Can you still get the $1 coins with the Indian babes picture on it, who's name I cannot spell? You can get Squawbucks at the bank or Post Office, their stamp machines use them to make change from bills.

Can you still get the $1 coins with the Indian babes picture on it, whos name I cannot spell? Well the US post office machines spit them out as change around here.

The name is Sacajawea
I can never forget that name. Back when I was in Junior High another student told me about a great book that she had read called Sacajawea. However she mispronounced the name and it came out more as sock it to ya. The television show Laugh In was still on the air and I thought my friend was referring to a book about the show. Boy was I disappointed when she lent the book to me.
