I think that is a significant factor. Willy didn't want to say anything positive about the Pope that could be thrown back in Hillary's face in 2008 when she is on the campaign trail waxing poetic about "a woman's right to choose."
Quite impressive how carefully they are preparing for the campaign. I can't help but wonder how Slick will do at not "overshadowing" Hillary!, or if, on the other hand, she will put up with it if she thinks that's the ticket to the WH (please God, may that never, ever happen).
