If they're already decided on disobeying God's clear commandment (a Finkelstein? oy vey!) I guess it's the realistic thing to do in a country that runs on tax incentives. But from now on, so as not to eliminate the older idea, we can talk of "legal marriage" and "real marriage".

Don't be surprised if Finkelstein has an eleventh-hour conversion like Brock. Contrary to what the article states, Brock does not work on campaigns of conservatives -- only liberal Republicans like Pataki.

Being gay is his own personal and prive choice, but getting married is slap against what most Republicans stand for.
To: All
It's been an open secret for years that Finkelstein was gay. This shouldn't surprise anyone.

I disagree with what he does in his bed room - but that is his business and he needs to keep it there. I dont care about his personal life. Period. (I dont want him trying to teach my kids what he does in his bed room is a correct life style either, 'cause its not - but thats between God and him)
Now, as for the political stuff - I hope he tears it up and completely derails hillary. There could be no sweeter win.
The sad thing is that the GOP has yet to field a viable candidate. We essentially gave them schumer's spot in '04 and now it looks like we are going to roll over for womb to the tomb government lady. Sad.

I hope he tears it up and completely derails hillary.Me too, but something tells me he's pulling a David Brock (and for the same reason.....) his hubby must be a lib.
