She is a "danger to herself and incompetent."

Teddy is a danger to others and a U.S. Senator. Out of the two, Teddy is the one who should be locked up.

If she ever needs a feeding tube, she's doomed.

"Unprecedented" suggests that the Kennedy machine told
the court what it wanted, precendents to the contrary
notwithstanding. Teddy knows how to kill and get away
with it.

Joan needed to get out of Mass long ago. Too late now.

But what is her quality of life? Would anyone want to live like that?

Bet teddy "the Swimmer" wishes he could perform a front lobotomy like on joe did on his sister.

Instead he will just have to have a bottle in front of him.

All the years of Teddy's despicable antics have greatly contributed to Joan's condition.

She hasn't killed anybody, by Kennedy standards that makes her an upstanding member of society.

Ted Kennedy (Vehicular homicide, not prosecuted)

Michael Skakel (Kennedy cousin, murder, imprisoned)

William Kennedy Smith (Rape, acquitted due to media trashing accuser)

Alcoholism, a family disease.

This is so sad but there are so many just like her and families who are suffering who don't make the headlines.

Joan's earliest sign of incompetence... saying "I do" with Teddy.

Joan Kennedy was hospitalized March 28 for injuries suffered when she was found on the sidewalk

What did the finder do, kick her a few times to see if she was alive?

A very poorly written sentence. We've been seeing a lot of that lately. I guess the new crop of reporters and editors come from government schools and journalism departments too concerned with political correctness and activism to worry about clear and concise, or at least coherent writing.

I will be praying for Joan's recovery. Many years ago, she fell hopelessly in love with the loser, and arguably a killer, Teddy. He is responsible for her situation.

I give her children credit for fighting to save their Mom's life.

I'm a firm believer in personal responsibility, but if there was EVER a case of a woman being driven to drink, it's Joan.

Beware Joan, remember Terri, once the judicial gives them control over your very life, be afraid, be very afraid, the scuba diver is hovering ever near.

She's no longer the babe who got tubby ex-hubby elected to the Senate when he had a broken neck. He dumped her years ago and traded her in for a new model---the Victoria. She is now an inconvenience. Now, at the request of her children (and his), she has been found "incompetent" by a court in Kennedychusetts. Does this mean that she is going to be dehydrated and/or starved to death?

Barnstable Probate and Family Court Judge Robert E. Terry yesterday ruled the 68-year-old former wife of Sen. Edward M. Kennedy Jr. is a danger to herself and incompetent, a source close to the case said.

You and I wouldn't get this kind of cooperation from the court, no way. Once again here in MA the law is shaped and greased to serve the needs of the Kennedys. Amazing.
