The whole concept of "contributing" is evil. It is entirely part and parcel of Scientology, as well, according to a good friend whose parents "got into" Scientology when she was growing up.
People have intrinsic worth which has nothing to do with extrernal attributes or actions which they perform.
It's called being a child of God.
