Prime Minister Ariel Sharon, speaking at a new conference with President George W. Bush in Texas on Monday, said large West Bank settlement blocs would remain in Israeli hands in the framework of any final status agreement with the Palestinians.

"The settlement blocs will remain in Israel's hands in any final-status agreement no matter the repercussions entailed," Sharon said.

"We are very interested in having (territorial) contiguity between Ma'aleh Adumim and Jerusalem, however the matter will take many years and we will have many more opportunities to discuss it with the Americans," Sharon added.

The palis are contentious group. Abbas, whose trained under araRATfink, is just like his mentor. Wouldn't trust the palis no further than a finger can be extended.

Abbas rule has already collapsed, in Gaza HAMAS is far more powerful. The rally two days ago for HAMAS as the new Leading political party was humongous. The streets as far as the eye could see was Arabs in green. The Palestinian territorys are one step from total anarchy, and the US is backing the loosing horse.

But then the winning horse's is HAMAS and Hizbulla

Big choice, huh? Since the media is proposing that we recognize Hammas as a political entity rather than as a terrorist organization, both in Lebanon and the PA territories, it is obviously not what is best for us.

We will be hearing more and more that Hamas has become more "moderate" and the "real enemies of peace" are the "extremist Jews." You know, those religious crazies who believe in the Bible.

Well the Bible's accuracy is getting down right scary.
Zephaniah 2 is about Gaza, the attack that is to come on Ashdod and Eshkalon and the complete destruction of the Palestinians.

If you take these prophecies as pertaining to now, Sharon will succeed in giving away Gaza, but it will bring war, not peace.

It parallels Isaiah 14.29-to the end, which proceeds the complete destruction of Israel's neighbors in Isaiah 15-19.

Nuclear war is the only war I can think of that will destroy 40 or so Arab cities instantly, "in the evening there is trouble, in the morning it is over".."Damacus is a ruinious heap", along with most of the Middle East.

While Ezeq 36 clearly describes the things Jordan did to Israel in 48 and 67, the last half clearly says that Sharon will not be able to give away Samaria and Hebron. Something happens to stop that between this early summer Gaza pullout, and the late summer "West Bank" pullout.

Like 100,000,000 dead Arabs and perhaps a millon or so Jews.

Sharon's peace legacy.

"and perhaps a million or so Jews."

I don't see the Jewish casualty count going that high. If indeed the Divine is going to be intervening in the Jewish nation again, on a supernatural level, I expect a low casualty count in the face of insurmountable odds in any war scenario to be part of the impetus driving the corporate Jewish heart back to the Lord. Just my opinion.

From the Golden Report ~~ Jerry Golden is a Messianic Jew who lives in Israel. His son is a membere of the IDF writes:

I hesitate to report the following but it is being reported by several that large US military convoys were moved over the past few days from the southern Sea-port of Ashdod into the Negev Desert. One such report that I have received says the convoy was several miles long, and with heavy equipment. It is also known that there are five IDF bases in Israel that house many thousand of US troops. The real question is why are they here, and has Israel given up its sovereignty to George Bush as well? Or are there preparations for a war with Iran and Syria underway?

Well the reason I guessed so many deaths in Israel is because God warns that the land is full of men that do not please Him and that he will cleanse the land. This could be that time. Israel even surviving will be an incredible act of God.

But then the fact that 75 mortar and rocket bombs landed in the tiny neighborhood of Gush Katif with no injury's in one attack this week is an incredible miracle of God. With the many thousands of mortars the Arabs have shot into the suburb's around Gaza, it is beyond scientific understanding why hundreds of people have not been killed.

God is in the miracle business, and it seems He does it a lot in Israel. Perhaps this is not the time for God's wrath on the ungodly in Israel. We can hope that. I would rather God delay if there were a chance that more would repent of their secular ways and open their eyes to the miracles around them. The New Age festival will be firing up in a few weeks, time for the foolish ones to dance around the golden calf again...

Israel is not giving up its sovereignty to Bush, there are not American troops on the streets. Bush is just trying to mitigate the damage that the strike on Syria and Iran will cause in the area.

The stated reason they are here is because of military exercises testing the patriot. Guess the Syrians and Iranians are supplying the targets.

I think there is a spiritual malaise that has settled over the Jewish nation because of the low-intensity conflict of the last five years, something a good adrenaline jolt and mortal threat would dissipate quickly. Remember II Kings 18:39 when Elijah challenged the priests of Baal, or rather, when the Lord demonstrated His power in a very real and dynamic way....

"And when all the people saw it, they fell on their faces: and they said, The LORD, he is the God; the LORD, he is the God."

I anticipate in any future Jewish war, the IDF will be facing incredible and insurmountable odds, but they will, under His clear influence, clean the Arab's clock big time, to the point the miraculous will be undeniable in the eyes of the world—not to mention the Jews. All these people are ground zero in contemporary world history. It's heavy.

The "secular" in Israel will thus find themselves in the midst of a radically different cultural environment.  !

Likewise, those who think they can "force G-d's Hand" in this are only endangering themselves, not waiting on Him to move in His time. There is quite a few Biblical examples of the longterm negative fallout of people who did that.
