I was in India trying to catch my flight back to the US the last time The Plague broke out there a few years back. We landed in Frankfurt where I was to catch my connecting flight. The plane pulled over to an isolated runway away from the Terminal after setting down.

4 German Health Officials entered the plane and walked up and down the aisles for 10 minutes interviewing passengers and examining everyone onboard before they allowed the plane to pull up to the terminal.

Hopefully any flights out of these areas will be carefully screened.
