Yeah, he is still around. He was convicted on bribery
charges but the stupid court threw it out. The DA didn't pursue it anymore after that.
No justice done there, either, imho. Al should be in
prison right now.
Ten years ago Al Lipscomb and John Wiley Price were
ALWAYS stirring up trouble. If ONE wasn't in the news,
the other one was.
I heard on the radio last week that Lipscomb was suppose to be running for something or the other. What got my ear was whatever the position is that Lipscomb also has a friend (which is/was) running for the same position and that Lipscomb had previously promised this friend that he would never run against him. Go figure.
