Holocaust in Greek means "Burnt Offering".

The people struck by the bombs of Dresden were certainly burnt. It was a type of burnt offering.

What unfolded for many of the Jewish people in Nazi occupied Europe was certainly another burnt offering. The numbers may be different, but both events are horrific.
