If more peopel actually took the time to read the writings of JPII they would see what a formidible intellect he was. You don't even have to agree with him on everything (or anything) to see that.

You are so right! Most people who criticize Pope J.P. II have never even taken a look at some of his writings. He truly had a gift with words, and spoke honestly yet compassionately. His works will be analyzed and studied for many years to come.
