With every other nuisance animal, the remedy is to let land owners and hunters help deal with the problem.
What is being proposed is that the law be changed so that reasonable, responsible citizens are no longer criminals.
You're right, of course, that this stupid cat hunt is a PR disaster that will run over hunters like a freight train.
I also find it amusing that some are embracing the lies about the cat/bird prey relationship. America has had feral cats and dogs for 400 years. They sound like card carrying members of the eco-fascist Audubon Society, which also wants to shut off land to hunters.
This is a job for trappers, not hunters.

Now we have to work on your continuing desire to argue just for arguments sake. I'm sure if we work together you can realize why this is. You are who you are and hiding it from yourself isn't working; you need to admit to yourself what you've been hiding from all this time. Where do you live and I'll be willing to chip in some cash so that you get the help that you need and I'll also find a therapist who can help you come to grip with these 'issues'.
