Last October, two liberals responded to my speech at the University of Arizona during question and answer, no less by charging the stage and throwing two pies at me from a few yards away.
Then on March 19, all charges were dismissed against the "Deliverance" boys including a felony charge for $3,000 worth of damage to school property. Inexplicably, this outcome did not instantly lead to widespread rioting and looting in South Central Los Angeles.
Democrat Barbara LaWall is the Pima County attorney who allowed the liberal debate champions to walk. LaWall brags on her website about "holding criminals accountable." She didn't say anything about liberals, however. Be forewarned, conservatives: Do not expect the law to protect you in Pima County.

COMPARE THIS WITH BARBARA'S TOUGH ON CRIME WEBSITE(from her websites):
Barbara LaWall ( Pima County Attorney ) is a zealous advocate for victims, particularly women and children. She fought hard to secure constitutional rights for victims. She wrote the office policy and procedure manual implementing victims' rights, the domestic violence policies and procedures, and the protocol and policies for investigating and prosecuting parental kidnapping, as well as for the Grand Jury investigation and prosecution.
She currently serves on the Tucson City/County Domestic Violence Commission as well as the Governor's Commission on Violence Against Women.

Seems like they're saying that conservatives are not welcome in their county.
Of course, I wasn't planning to go there anyway.
Although they undoubtedly broke the law these kids really did no harm, Ann got a lot of free publicity and it seems like a childish prank. I am not sure but the attorney did the right thing. Would she do the same for Conservatives who wanted to throw a pie at Fat Teddy? Well we really dont know do we?
Officer-of-the-court activism bump!
Well she couldn't convict these boys of a felony. They might loose their right to vote in the next election and Hitlery's gonna need all the votes she can get.
And I'll bet my hands that the judge was thinking about that when she dismissed the charges.
Just imagine if Ann's fiance threw two pies into the faces of, oh let's say, Jane Fonda, while she was speaking. Wonder what the charges would've been?
Just as with Hitler's National Socialist Democrats, there is one set of rules for them (Limosine Liberals) and another set for the serfs. I don't know any one who would waste a pie or the effort to hit fatso Teddie or be in the same room with him.
Well, other than, "including a felony charge for $3,000 worth of damage to school property", sure.
Wake up! That would be a hate crime. In fact speech for conservatives is a hate crime on campus. We never even consider things like that. In Communist Cuba the government let's it known to the public that anti-communists are fair game. Well the same with college campuses. You need to study the hundreds of cases on David Horowitz website:

Ann should file a civil suit.
bump
What, they missed so it's OK? Being terrorized by hate-mongers who are throwing objects at you while rushing you on stage is assault, and attempted battery.
I do wonder how two pies caused $3000 worth of damage to the school.
They should be tried and convicted, to discourage the next hate-monger from throwing something more substantial. If, after their convictions, you want to argue that they shouldn't go to jail, I'd agree with that. Maybe community service.
People who have no internal moral compass are constrained from evil only by their fear of punishment. If you read the writing of a typical democrat, you will see the hate, the rage waiting for the right moment. 30 years of public education have given us children who have no sense of right and wrong, who think that the only reason you don't burn cars and rob stores is because you might get caught (thus when they get a big enough group together so they are sure they are safe, they riot).
The left holds up these pie-throwers as heroes (go look at the message boards). This encourages more of them. Soon it won't be just pies.
So the attorney did not do the right thing. She gave aid and comfort to criminals, and revealed the hypocrisy of her claims to be a champion for "victims".
Probably the most overlooked aspect of this..
Post 9/11, controversial female conservative public figure, standing in stage alone, two males come running at you. That would be shockingly frightening until you realized what was going on. They could have had guns, suicide bombs, etc.
My guess is damage to stage items like curtains that couldn't be cleaned.
Oh, I think we do.
I agree 100%, Ann should sue the stones off of these boys?????? Jerks. And maybe hold the school responsible for her security with another suit.
talk about a waste of money...
What, no picture? This is a serious breech of freeper history!
No comments on Ann may be posted without a picture...
Yeah, it won't seem so innocent or funny when the radical disrupters move up to throwing urine, HIV-contaminated blood, or battery acid. That is the natural evolution of this type of behavior if not cut off now. The liberal/left knows this but has decided that this behavior is not only to be tolerated but that the disrupters are to be lionized. Of course, liberal/left probably will not be amused when a member of the conservative speaker's security detail shots the next disrupter after the first serious attack is made. That's the natural counteraction.
Pardon me while I go call the Waaahhhhmbulance.
Richard Perle had a shoe thrown at him. You could hurt someone pretty bad if you hit them just right with a shoe.
The rule should be: you don't get to throw anything.
Sorry Ann, you're going to have to sit on a North Vietnamese anti-aircraft gun and burn an American Flag before the Pima County DA is going to do anything for you.
The tyranny and hypocrisy of the left continues unabated. Once again its illustrative how the law doesn't seem as important when a conservative is targeted.
I would like to see a group of conservative students with with posters of "Stop violence against females" in front of Democrat Barbara LaWall's office.
Just wondering though, and definitely suggesting, but if Barbara LaWall got a pie in the face does anyone doubt she would prosecute?
What about the violence against women act? Male on female violence here, you know...
It's not the damage, it's the union labor (supervised by liberals) to clean it up.
Selective prosecution from a self-proclaimed paragon of victims rights.
You must take into account that that pair would have been much harder to miss with the pies!
It's obvious that if justice is to be served, it must be served immeadiately, right there at the event. I predict that in the future, it will be.
Today pies. Tommorow bricks.
***********
Teddy would have eaten the evidence. Case dismissed.
LOL, I wondered that too.
Perhaps the pies hit some stage drapery that was very expensive to clean?
Or maybes the $3000 is simply the amount the school had to pay to investigate the incident?
Whatever the case, I completely support Ann Coulter in ANY matter!
That is along the lines I was thinking. Where's the outrage of "violence against females" here?
You apparently don't consider the intentional denial of a civil right to be harmful?
Didn't those two receive a righteous ass whipping? I seem to recall they looked a bit roughed up in their mug shots.
This is a travesty!
They did indeed. Nevertheless, they need to be prosecuted.
