I disagree. If she'd shot the guy, there would have been *no* news coming out of the county. The MSM would bury the justifiable shooting story so deep you'd have to pipe in daylight to it. See the Tyler Courthouse Shooting for a recent example...

The MSM would have said she was an evil vigilante, connected it to the Minuteman Project somehow, and it would create such a circus that it would be difficult to seat an unbiased jury. She did the right thing.
