I'm afraid you are right.
I remember with SARS last year, NONE of the numbers were accurate.
In some cases, because they didn't have accurate numbers in some cases because they didn't want to have accurate numbers, and in some cases because they didn't want to release the accurate numbers.
The Sars outbreak was in 2003 not last year.
I know. I didn't write that part.
Oh.. sorry. My bad.
I think I am the one who made the mistake. Oh well.

LUANDA, April 17 (Xinhuanet) -- The Angolan Ministry of Health hasannounced that the death toll from the epidemic of Marburg hemorrhagic fever has jumped to 233 from a total of 255 cases recorded in Angola until Saturday.
According to a press release issued here by the ministry on Sunday, all the reported cases of the Ebola-like disease had originated in the northwestern province of Uige, though patients have died elsewhere, including Luanda, Zaire, Malange, Kuangza Norte, Kuanza South and Cabinda provinces.
The World Health Organization, the United States Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and Doctors Without Borders have deployed teams in Uige to combat the virus.
Spreading through contact with bodily fluids, Marburg can kill rapidly as there is no vaccine against it.
In the last known outbreak of Marburg, 123 people were killed in the neighboring Democratic Republic of Congo between 1998 and 2000. Enditem
