California Teenager Found Safe in Missouri

Ashleigh Markley (search), a 14-year-old California girl who has been missing since March 29, was found in Jefferson City, Mo., police said Friday.

I know a couple who didn't get that good news. Their daughter was lost forever. To a devoid. To a monster. This was a few years back. Whenever I see them their eyes always look like they just finished crying sad tears. Tonight nobody will cry those sad tears for this child. Like I said, that's great!

No, the vagrant woman believed to have taken her has the tattoos. The teen has a tongue and naval piercing.

I have a Daughter, she is all grown up now with her own family, but I can't imagine what a parent goes through when their child is missing. This one is a happy ending, so many are not

I hope they give more details...such as did she leave willingly with the tattooed woman (not that it makes much difference legally), where they've been and what they've done since the disappearance and how she was found.

Sounds like the tattooed woman was not with her when she was found.
