U.N. chief Annan angers U.S., Britain
Washgington Times ^ | April 16, 2005 | Nicholas Kralev

U.N. Secretary-General Kofi Annan, who earlier angered the United States and Britain by calling the Iraq war 'illegal,' has upset both nations again -- this time accusing them of allowing Saddam Hussein to enrich himself selling oil outside the U.N.-run oil-for-food program. Mr. Annan set off the latest dispute on Thursday by asserting that Saddam made more money smuggling oil to Jordan and Turkey -- under the noses of the United States and Britain -- than he skimmed from the 1996-2003 U.N.-run oil-for-food program.

"Our leader, Abu Annan, says that we don't need no stinking end of our terrorism .
The UN rapes, the UN slavery, the UN support of terrorists will continue.
We run the UN's WHO and will continue to help terrorists everywhere
by sending out Bird Flu, Anthrax to Lebanon and Saudi Arabia and more.
SO why don't all you dhimmis just give up and surrender NOW,
on you KNEES and join the French and Spanish."

The Case of 1933 Human Flu in 2004 Korean Swine is Not Closed

"Hopefully, when WHO tries to figure out were the 1957 H2N2 was before it was mistakenly mailed to labs around the world, they will not stop looking if they come across a couple of H3N2 samples. One can hope that they do not think that H3N2 in someone's freezer means no one else in the United States has improperly labeled H2N2.

More specifics will be described when WHO puts out their press release with more negative data. However, the bottom line remains. WHO did not find WSN/33 and they did not find H9N2, so they have no rational explanation for the composition of the six isolates from six pigs on six farms in Korea in 2004.

Until they can explain the data (other than hand waving using a disputed shipment of WSN/33 to Korea or up-loads of mistaken files), the case is not closed."

But that's the least of it, isn't it Annan...?

I agree with you on one thing, though, you miserable excuse for a human being. There were Americans and Brits who knew what was going on, some even profiting from it. And those people should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.

Kofi Annan can't be all bad.

Kofi Annan and Robert Mugabe were each Heinz Distinguished Lecturers.

So what if Annan used his opportunity at the Heinz podium in Pittsburgh in 2003 to criticize Bush? (/sarcasm)

Kofi Annan will chide U.S. in Heinz lecture

So what if Annan got the Heinz Humanitarian Award for making sure that the UN distributed a product manufactured by Heinz? (/sarcasm)

Annan receives award from Heinz fund [Heinz product, Supplefer, distributed by UN, Annan gets award] 2003

He is right in a way. If the US amd Britain had not invaded and found the evidence, Kofi and crew could still be on the gravy train.

At Left: Kofi Annan criticizes Bush while speaking as Ninth Heinz Distinguished Lecturer in 2003.

Note the obvious display of the UN, Heinz, and University of Pittsburgh flags, projected on the screen behind Annan.

"School for Scandal."
"One significant problem is the anti-Semitism that runs throughout the play."

Unfortunately, Kofi is right. It was official US policy to turn a blind eye to these sales starting with the Clinton administration. Turkey was a NATO ally and needed the oil and Jordan was getting it through widespread smuggling, which ignored the sanctions against Iraq.

So - stop paying 'dues' to an organization which has become irrelevant.

And don't foot the bill for repairs of their free headquarters building. Move it to France. The UN hates us so much, I wouldn't think they would want to stay here anyway.

Kofi, go home!

I see little reason to keep rewarding Annan's total lack of ability to manage. But now that he's playing pea-and-shell, distract by accusing the USA and Britain, I really want him out of there before he causes any more damage.

The worst leader is a crook who won't admit guilt and yet retains the reins of power.
