FOX News and Rita Cosby are looking pretty bad here. All Rita had to do was interview Eldon Elliot, the owner of Elliot's Body Shop and the man that rented McVeigh and John Doe 2 the Ryder truck and Eldon could have explained what he explained in court.
Eldon Elliot was not working the day "Todd Bunting" was in the shop, therefore Eldon could not have mistaken Todd Bunting for John Doe 2. Eldon Elliot has testified under oath that there was a man with McVeigh when he rented McVeigh the truck.
I hope I am not disappointed.
It sounded like from the promo that they will eventually raise more questions than answers.
They may be doing the setup of give the standard explanation for events...and then they might segue to Jayna Davis and end the piece by having her talk about the standard explanation.
That would be a logical format for a news special like this to follow.
