This Is Interesting (Instapundit - CBS Working with terrorists)

THIS IS INTERESTING, even if it's buried at the end of a story on something else:

The U.S. military reported Saturday that a CBS News stringer detained after a gunbattle between U.S. forces and insurgents this month "tested positive for explosive residue." "Multinational forces continue to investigate potential collaboration between the stringer and terrorists, and allegations the stringer had knowledge of future terrorist attacks," said Sgt. John Franzen of Task Force Freedom in Mosul.

It's going to be bad for journalism, if people get the idea that major-news correspondents may be terrorist moles.

I think that train has already left the station.

I want the name released. Have a feeling the Bush administration is going to sweep this under the rug....or stuff it down Sandy Bergers pants.

So a CBS News stringer in Iraq has explosive residue on his hands and is a TERRORIST!

Need any more reasons after Cronkite, Rather, Wallace, Stahl, Engberg, and now a Terrorist Stringer, why CBS stands for COMMUNIST BROADACST SCUMBAGS?

In all fairness, half the people in Iraq might test positive for some explosive residue on their hands, depending on how sensitive the test is. I suspect our military has some other evidence.

They should have checked that Commie Italian female reporter "hostage" Giuliana Sgrena for residue too.

I'd bet that she probably helped assemble a few bombs while held "captive" by her terrorist friends.
