The inherent flaw in this secular humanist reasoning is that you cannot define equality by what a person can or cannot do in society. For instance, men cannot bear children, a quadrapalegic cannot be a world-class swimmer, Terri Schiavo could not effectively communicate her wants and desires, et cetera. Does this fact make any of these people any less "equal?" Absolutely not! To define human equality by ability is, in essence, dehumanizing and a superficial form of equality at best.
