I agree 100% with you Doug. They lost me on their inability to take the right stand on illegal aliens.

Here is the exact text of a letter I just wrote to the RNC, in response to a fund-raising letter: You people have got to be kidding! You wimped out on Terri Schiavo; you wimped out on the filibuster, and now you have even wimped out on Bolton. Please solicit me again when you find some leadership--and in the meantime, just leave me alone!
Not a penny
They lost me when they fail to protect the borders.
Can you record this one? I bet it will be played all over talk radio.
Watched RINO stab us in the back on CSPAN2, live and in color.
Perhaps we can make a difference and scare them into doing the right thing.

Just add it to the list when you write your rep a letter demanding that they obey the will of their constituents or you will find someone who will.
They'll find a way to sway you. A new version of 9/11 changed everything.
What in the heck was wrong with Voinovich? If he didn't cave, I think they might have stayed in line. LET THE FREAKING SENATE HAVE AN UP OR DOWN VOTE AND GET IT OVER WITH.
I'm an independent and vote for the man. The problem is, that I haven't seen any around lately.

I called Lugar's office and told him just that. We might as well be in the minority if we don't have members that will take a damn stand and stick with it. My checkbook is closed until they start acting like the majority.

Sir,
The RNC and the entire Republican Party probably ought to stop sending these funding requests for awhile until they can stop acting like spineless clowns in Congress. I, and I think many other conservatives, have had enough.
We’re the people who’ve sent you checks in the past. We’re the people who work on your campaigns. We work at the polls and on the phones on Election Day. We write letters to the editor of our newspaper. We support the President and, until now, were strong party supporters.
But now, I can only say, “not one more dime, not one more hour of my time.” Not one more. Especially after today’s debacle regarding the John Bolton nomination. I don’t want the Senator from Ohio to ever get a nickel of mine.
Not one more dime. Not until this Bolton mess is fixed. Not until President Bush’s judicial nominees get a full Senate vote. Not until many more of you start speaking up on behalf of House Minority Leader Tom Delay.
I was going to put a stamp on this envelope, but the Bolton thing was the last straw. You can pay my postage, too.
