Glenn has been on fire lately. :D I enjoy his show. Anyone heard anything about Rusty Humphries? He's in Iraq right now.... Wondering how he is doing.

I wish I could have heard they took Beck off 1100 and put Jerry Springer on. So I have nothing to listen to until Rush at noon.

I heard it---it was terrific, but then again, I am a Glenn Beck fan---

Did you check his website, for his archives of shows?

I heard it, too. I bet Glenn will play the interview again tomorrow. The mayor's comments were disgraceful-of course the oldie, that he cannot comment on an ongoing investigation, he's responsible for police, not school system, putting his own children in catholic school so they could have religious training, and the don't question my manhood was unbelievable!

You can become an insider for $6.95 a month, and you only pay on a month to month basis.

You can then access all the programs and listen to them again, plus the funny comedy bits.

We like to listen to the After "24" show on Monday nights, it's a riot.

The guy pretending to be Coleman was Beck's producer, Stu. Stu isn't his actual name but for some reason Beck began calling him Stu and it stuck.

Coleman came across as evasive and blustering, Beck as sincere but not quite closing in for the kill. Coleman no doubt thinks he won, but I rate Beck the winner on points.

In essence, Coleman insisted on filibustering and trying to hide behind the ongoing police investigation. In response, I wish that Beck had made and pressed the point that Coleman had a responsibility to address the policy issues raised by an instance of apparent teacher misconduct with a student and a lax response by the local school board.

One does not need to assume the guilt or innocence of the specific teacher involved in order to discuss what should be done when there is good reason for a school system to suspect misconduct. Preliminary or protective action for the good of the students does not presume guilt any more than a police investigation presumes guilt or a court presumes guilt when ordering a defendant to be held for trial. School systems and teacher unions -- and their political allies -- universally tend to be protective of school teachers and staff and to give them the benefit of the doubt instead of giving the highest priority to protecting students.

In context, Coleman's comments indicate that he sides with the teacher, the school system, and the unions against the best interests of the students. I know nothing whatever of Coleman or the incident beyond his exchange with Beck, but I hope Coleman suffers political defeat and a humiliating exit from public life.

Here's one news account of the call  Mayor Calls Beck's Show

According to this News Account there are still no official charges against the administrators.

Whether school administrators will be charged is unclear. State law requires officials to immediately report cases of abuse to law enforcement or face up to 30 days in jail and a $250 fine, City Attorney Richard Pfeiffer Jr. said.

However, he said, officials would be charged only if someone filed a complaint. So far, no complaint has been filed. An attorney for the girl’s father would not say whether he planned to file one.

Here is contact info for the school: Mifflin High School
3245 Oak Spring St
Columbus, OH 43219
Franklin County
Phone: (614) 365-5466

According to this link here is the info for the city attorney.

Beck tried to ask him how he felt about this incident as a man and a father. Coleman said "Don't question my manhood!"

NOPE, no questions about his 'manhood'.

It's OBVIOUS that his 'manhood' is planted in his toilet, OR the nearest sink, OR running down the leg of his political party.

Columbus has been corrupt for years. Check the website. They couldn't stand my client Jerry Doyle at the school board or at city hall so they just basically banned him until i stood up and started suing.

my website with a 14-minute movie on Civil Rights:

http://www.christopherkingesq.com/

jerry doyle's story as reported to the weekly magazine columbus alive:

http://www.columbusalive.com/1999/19990304/

Michael Coleman was a complete asshole the whole time; ignored my calls, etc. We've got it all on tape. And they are still violating Civil Rights in the schools today, with regard to Due Process hearings. We got that on tape, too.

Best regards,

Christopher King, Esq.
