They still get the votes from illegal aliens, but they get to impose a type of tax on them at the same time. Looks like all of the politicians will be happy.

I was just about to say the same.
All McCain is doing is suggesting taxing them as any ordinary citizen.
He really thinks we're stupid. Evidently we are to view this as punishment rather than another step toward legalizing their status, and the government gets rich to boot. If they can collect.

I guess we're really not sending the best and the brightest to Congress. Unbelievable! That includes the backstabbing tom tancredo, but no he had to whip up internal strife all for his own aggrandizement.

McCain can't be criticized...he served in VN < /sarcasm>
Could it be he sympathizes with illegals because the VC considered him to be one ?

Typical Democrat response - try to figure out a way to turn a problem into a revenue stream.
If this doesn't prove what party Johnny SHOULD belong to....

Who is he(tancredo) stabbing in the back? Tom Delay. tancredo said to the press he should step down temporarily over the democrat trumped up charges. Nice work there tom, step down whenever a democrat brings up trumped charges.
With friends like tom tancredo who needs enemies.

Senators John McCain and Edward Kennedy are putting together... John McCain is NOTHING but a RINO-whore...
...Whether he's either burying his face into MSM's Chris Matthews' lap -- or like now -- burying his stupid puss up the RATS' Uncle Teddy's arse.
For all those who've abided by the "wisdom" in voting for RINOs instead of conservatives, maybe you'll change you mind about pulling the lever for those stinkin' piles of sh*t just because of that little ol' (R).

Can we just trade McCain and Kennedy for 2 million illegals ?

I have a better idea. Let's fine the companies that employ them - $1,000 per day per infraction.

Shakedown ... McCain been around Jesse Jackasson lately? This sounds like the 'fee to be immigrated' by the oriental express network.
