Is the pope Catholic? (Great Read!)

Is the new pope, former Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger, Catholic? Judging from the response of the mainlining media, stuffed with graduates of the Goebbels School of Public Journalism, the answer must be a resounding, "We're afraid so."

In reality, Joseph Goebbels would probably blush at the propaganda techniques employed on a day-to-day basis by most of America's self-proclaimed "mainline" news outlets. News in America today is less concerned with reporting and explaining the day's events than it has ever been. That's because it is more concerned today than it has ever been with bullying public opinion into support for its plethora of leftist causes. Phony polls, anonymous sources and outright news fabrications that "should have happened" are only the tip of the "journalism" malpractice iceberg.

The media's favored agenda isn't hard to discern if you can still rub two brain cells together. More abortions – better, faster and cheaper. "Choice" – as long as its a leftist choice – is what makes America great.

"Sex before eight, or it's too late," taught in the public schools with extra credit awarded for homosexual encounters. Socialized medicine, because somebody has to pay for all the sexually transmitted diseases and AIDS medicine – heaven knows, the participants can't afford it.

Schools, hospitals and universities forced to provide generous services to illegal immigrants as if they were legal citizens. While we're at it, let's make sure it's easy for these illegal immigrants to vote. We wouldn't want real Americans who have arrived here legally, "worked hard and played by the rules" to determine the outcome of our elections. They might not want to pay for the media's socialist agenda. And don't forget the "hate crime laws" to shield reporters from giving equal time to opposing views.

The media, of course, was looking for a more "progressive" pope who would "move the church" in a different direction. So was Satan. As I wrote a few weeks ago in "John Paul II wasn't man's first choice," "Secular journalists view the Church and those who serve it through secularist-colored glasses. That is the reason they are forever condemned to misunderstand it, and write nonsense regarding it."

Anyone harboring even the vaguest idea of who God is would know that eternal and unchanging are up near the top of His attribute list. His pronouncements in the form of the Ten Commandments and the life, death and resurrection of his Son Jesus Christ are eternal and unchangeable truths for all of mankind, forever. They don't change because disaffected churchgoers and mainline secularist propagandists become disenchanted with them. This is not the U.S. Supreme Court, where one day we have a Constitution and the rule of law, and, the next day, five justices go squishy and vote to overturn last week's decision because it offended the international sensibilities of Rwanda, Canada or the MEU (Muslim European Union).

Do the scribes at the New York Times or the Washington Post, and the undocumented document philanderers at "CBS News" imagine that God will wake up one morning and decide He was wrong about homosexuality, abortion, euthanasia and all those laboratory stem cells that make wonderful new drugs from ground-up infants? "Oh, no! I'm so sorry. Let's have 6,000 years of affirmative action for evil to make it all fair!"

Only a few days ago the media stumbled over themselves finding good things to write and say about Pope John Paul II. When John Paul's closest associate is elected pope, it took just hours before the media had him serving in the Nazi army. (Silly me ... I thought it was the German army. Does that mean Iraq is being freed by the GOP army?) Had young Ratzinger disobeyed his conscription orders, I'm sure we would've seen Microsoft Word versions of the orders on "60 Minutes" with questions about whether a lawbreaker should be serving as pope.

On the other hand, maybe I've got it wrong. Perhaps the problem isn't so much that the media doesn't understand God, but that the media thinks it is God? The chances of any pope endorsing homosexual couplings as marriage, abortion on demand as birth control, euthanasia as a cure for old age, infants cultivated for their stem cells in laboratory petri dishes, and the rest of the left's death wish for Western culture are about as likely as finding an ice skating rink in hell. But then again with so many Big Media reporters trudging around down there, who knows what they'll find?

If any of the liberal RATS will die on the cross and is resurrected, I will listen to their version of religion. Otherwise STFU and pray for forgiveness!

The media fags, and godless have been more than eager to diss the Catholic church as a whole for a few child molesters priests. Now these are the same liberal bastards who are supporting men young boys love!

The same bastards wanted to diss John Paul for the same reasons that they are dissing Ratzinger now, except, John Paul had a universal admiration like Mother Teresa, and cannot be dissed without major consequences to the offender. I hope Ratzinger will work fast to cultivate his peaceful demeanor, and illustrate that he is the leaders of all.

It's not that the left hates God, it's that they'd rather worship Government.

Ratzinger said I am a servant to the servants of God. How humble and meek is that.
