I saw this exact thang on Law and Order.

"complaining of fatigue and would often have to take naps at lunchtime and after his work day," according to the warrant.
He was dirty and hiding it. He has either fled the country, or those that he was dirty with, have killed him.
Because they suspended his pay, my guess is that they believe he fled.
This is only conjecture.
