Hey, thump.

Although the Japanese had no way to invade the US in force, I would agree with your statement.

Sadly, this retaliation scenario has been discussed on other boards, and the response from the left has been quite shrill that we do no such thing.

The execrable Arthur C. Chambers, California esquire, on the P&R section of www.Ferrarichat.com, is quite vocal in LOUDLY opposing any use of US nukes in ANY response to a nuclear attack.

The Left is always shrill. It's genetic with them.

The fact is, the muslim fanatic knows no other language than the use of force. To sit back and timidly respond with a few puny bombs or cruise missiles of conventional capacity would be to blink in the face of a mad dog. Inviting further bites and allowing ourselves to be slaughtered by the proverbial "thousand cuts".

The ancients would destroy their enemies by sowing their fields with salt and crushing their cultures. It is inevitable that we in the West will confront the muslim fanatics in a much larger war than what we now see. The decision to use all means and methods available to utterly vanquish them, when the time comes, must be made and must be stood behind by those we entrust with our lives. To do otherwise is to sign our collective death warrants.
