Media in attendance was the Courier-Journal, WHAS 11 TV and WHAS AM 840 radio. The mention of us in all three was actually pretty good. I'll try to figure out how to post the C-J's article but in the meantime you can read an excellent write-up (WITH GREAT PICS!)

Thanks for posting this. It was very enjoyable to read. I gotta say that I just love air shows! It gives me goosebumps when those jets roar overhead and the announcer yells, "That's the sound of Freedom!"........gee, goosebumpse just thinking about it. :)

They claim the aircraft used today are 'weapons of mass destruction.' However, the truth is they are implements of liberation and defenders of freedom.Excellent point. I maintain that the liberal peaceniks who criticize the military would scream to high heaven for protection the second they realized their very own personal safety and security was threatened.

Good for you! I was at Thunder last year and will never forget sitting on the bridge over the Ohio on the way to the Indiana side as a C-130 did a low fly-over! What a feeling - coming STRAIGHT AT US!!
