I heard him go into a tirade one night about Rush. He was nuts. Couldn't he find any RATS to go after? He has to go after his allies? I turned him off and will only listen to him when in the car and there's nothing else to listen to.

Savage is a little more then I can take most of the time. His rants are comparable to Al Franken as far as I am concerned. People shut down and stop listening when your voice gets shrill and you start with the name calling. If you can't make a point and back it up with facts (like Rush) without calling people names, then I am going to listen to you about as intently as I do a 3 year old.

He goes after Rush when it is obvious that Rush is just a cheerleader for the GWB administration, you know, GOP good, Dems bad. When Rush did do a program about illegal immigration and how he disagrees with GWB, Savage noted it and gave credit to Rush. He gives credit to Rush often with respect to the establishment of conservative talk radio, for if it wasn't for Rush, folks like Savage know they would be in a different line of work.

I don't listen to MS either, anymore. He is sometimes right on the money, but why try to bring down other conservatives? And he is SO negative -- nothing is ever right, nothing is ever good enough, nothing is ever perfect. That is just curmudgeonry, imho.
