I think I read here on FR that Savage took himself off satellite radio because they have no restrictions on what they'll allow their people to say or do on radio--a complaint mainly aimed at Stern whom Savage despises.

I guess some people will figure he's looking for censorship and some folks will figure he wants some level of standards.

I guess you could say he is a man of convictions who honors his own standards even to his own detriment. OTOH a huge number of people can't hear him anymore so he's lost a major opportunity to persuade people to his point of view.

I can't hear him anymore living near Chicago. Other than his show on MSNBC I never listened to him before. Now that he is not on xm I am back in the same boat. I loved it when a liberal called in with some insane point of view and he just let them have it.
