FOX News is playing it every 10 minutes. Shepherd Smith seems obcessed with the video.
Crap, I knew it! Fox News is usually okay, but they still take the dim side sometimes.
'The love of a man for a woman waxes and wanes like the moon...but the love of brother for brother is steadfast as the stars, and endures like the word of the prophet.' ...Arabian Proverb

The same reason he would call for amnesty despite Americans (and Conservatives) overwhelmingly opposing it. Tone-deaf.
There are a dozen such photos of this in the past. Bush knew it was coming. There was plenty of time to explain to Abdullah that this kind of thing wont fly domestically for a variety of reasons...

3. Shows Bush more intimate with the leader of the source nation for the 9/11 attacks than any other leader
This is just plain stupid. In Riyadh it is one thing. This is America...and TEXAS, for pete's sake. Even the Bush-friendly NY Post is pushing the "gay" theme by saying that "Cowboys all over Texas must be cringing".
Now that's an astute observation.
Seems to me it is an example of the cordial and kind mannerisms of GWB. I did not find it any really newsworthy item, with all due respect to all of you!
He owes me royalties.
