The only thing harder to find in the U.S. Senate these days than a Democrat with a conscience is a Republican with a spine.
Democrats may have been waxed at the polls last November, but they're running rings around Republicans in the public relations battles so far this year....

Doesn't hurt that they have the Lame Stream Media as their advocates either.
Yeah. Jack Kelly makes that point in the article.
Spot on from Jack Kelly.
Mega-dittos.
Chapter ping.
He really nails it. And this is from a guy who knows what's happening 'inside-the-Beltway'.
Thought you might find this interesting, in the context of yesterday's conversations.
Particularly what he says about the folks from the WH tasked to working with the Senate.
At least the House "is in the house" If not for the Republican Study Committee I do not know where we would be.
Oh,wait, yes I do,The Gop would be the way of the Whigs.
I thought the same thing when I read the headline.
Can't say enough good things about our stalwart conservatives in the House.
We have a responsibility to send them more reinforcements in '06.
I'm sorry, but I'm not buying "the MSM is the root cause for the Republicans' ineptitude" argument anymore. I work in a very competitive environment where I can make any number of legitimate excuses for lack of results, but at the end of the day, my boss wants to know how I'm going to start producing results. If these Republicans don't find a way to start producing results for their bosses (ie. Us, the taxpayers and voters of this country), then Hewitt is right, there will be a huge backlash against them come 2006 and 2008.
John Pastore (excerpt from the speech Hiroshima Day delivered
Aug. 3, 1999, on the 54th anniversary of the bombing of Hiroshima)
Taking the advice of a leftie.
We are leading, they will follow; and it is time to nuke the Dems!

Good find, EV.
Brother Jack has got it just right!
He sure do!
When will Republicans grow some nads?
Albert Einstein once said The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.
We keep sending Republicans to Congress and the White House and nothing seems to change.
Indeed. The trick is to send conservatives.
Just because we have a Republican majority doesn't mean we have a conservative majority, obviously.
"We keep sending Republicans to Congress and the White House and nothing seems to change."
Isn't that the truth? Since e-mail doesn't seem to do any good, I just sent snail-mail letters to the RNC, Frist and my two RINO senators (DeWine and Voinovich) expressing my disgust with the Republican Party in general and the Senate Republicans in particular. Just got another solicitation for money from the RNC in the mail, too. Talk about adding insult to injury!! Not another dime.
the intervertebrae party. works for me.
Ken Mehlman resembles Tony Robbins in a way. Ken better walk on coals to toughen himself up for the constituent backlash. 1. immigration 2. judicial reform 3. euthanasia 4. too slow on an energy plan... etc.
The reason the MSM is doing this is because the Republicans are letting them. I tell my clients, "no one can take something away from you or turn you into something unless you let them."
