There's no word yet on whether or how much chemo. But the surgery sounds like it was wildly successful.

If they don't find anything on the second series of tests, could she avoid chemo?

Well if they got the whole thing in a lumpectomy and there's no presence of cancer in the nodes, then they will at the most do radiation and nothing else.
