So they did a biopsy and not anything else

Sounds like they did a lumpectomy, but they still have to wait for the pathology report, but they can pretty much tell at the time that the nodes are removed whether they're cancerous or not.

I was only going by the "sentinel node" which is a biopsy but I guess on her website the entire article shows she said at the end a "lumpectomy". I guess you can do both at the same time. In some cases when they do a biopsy, they will see if they can do a lumpectomy while in there, if they can get the entire tumor with clear margins.
