Bolton Accuser - Anti Bush Activist Who Committed Plagiarism

It's been clear that those opposing John Bolton's nomination are on the warpath - they want "payback" to compensate for having lost in the 2004 elections. They just can't accept the fact that they lost.

It's amazing to see how low the Bolton critics have sunk in their efforts to reject the election results.

The latest person who has jumped aboard the smear campaign against Bolton has admitted to numerous episodes of plagiarism when she was a newspaper journalist, was the founder of "Mothers Opposing Bush" and has had her allegations against Bolton disputed by those who worked with her.

The liberal media doesn't report the background of Ms. Townsel because they just like to throw mud at John Bolton in an effort to work with John Kerry and Barbara Boxer to defeat Bolton.

Speaking of John Kerry, the other prominent Bolton critic, Carl Ford, has given thousands upon thousands of dollars to Democrat political candidates INCLUDING John Kerry. That sort of makes his comments that he is a "conservative Republican" seem a little less than honest.

Enough is enough people. We can't sit back and watch the liberals in the Senate and the liberals in the news media smear John Bolton's name and attempt to beat him up so badly he can't be confirmed. It was precisely these tactics that managed to get Senator George Voinovich to "flip" - briefly - and withdraw his support for Bolton.

Thanks to your support of our ad campaign in Ohio, and thanks to your thousands of emails and phone calls, Senator Voinovich is apparently 'back on the reservation.'

But, if we sit back and do nothing, we'll just be waiting for the next wavering Senator to pull his support for Bolton based on the new wave of rumors that Senate Democrats will be advancing with the help of the liberal media.

We aren't going to sit back and take it - we're going to be proactive. The first step we'll be taking is to produce a new television ad that reveals to the nation the background of the Bolton critics and shows the American people the truth the news media won't report.

Believe me, the truth about these people should make everyone shudder to think that certain US Senators are actually suggesting that the American people should allow these discredited individuals to derail the career of an accomplished and intelligent man in John Bolton.

If John Kerry and Barbara Boxer think they can get away with this smear campaign, they've got another thing coming.

We'll be in the studio producing this newest ad on Wednesday and Thursday.

"Finally, Democrats are retailing a charge from a partisan Democrat — founder of the Dallas chapter of Mothers Opposing Bush — that Bolton chased her through a Moscow hotel 11 years ago, throwing things and acting like a “madman.” Bolton was working for a company for which the woman, Melody Townsel, was a subcontractor. The head of the company, Jayant Kalotra, says he doesn’t believe it happened and that Bolton was always professional. Townsel’s boss at the subcontractor, Charlie Black, also says he didn’t hear of it at the time, even though Townsel was never shy about complaining."

Kinda hysterical.

For fun, let's imagine how this would have played out 20 years ago.

Dan Rather would have had a segment on the news about these charges. Or pehaps on 60 minutes, the weekly news magaizine of the Democratic Party. He would have had that serious expression on his face, and would intone about the seriousness of the charges.

No one would have been able to put up any defense that would reach the voters. National Review would have had an article debunking the charges, which would reach a handful of people. Even if this defense was perfect, the public at large would never learn of it, and would be left with the vague impression that the Republican was a bad guy.

Now things are very different. Aint it wonderful. Democrats are scared to death of their very real own ethics problems being investigated in the wake of Tom Delay's problem. The attack on Delay is backfiring. The forged Guard memos just about killed off CBS news. It is a great time to be alive.
