Dude, you can see that anytime you want. Surely you are aware of the television programme that was produced in the early 80s? It's available on VHS and DVD.

I highly recommend the book first--especially if you enjoy British humor.

I have read all the books many times over. One of my favorites of all time. If you have not read them, do it.

Many believe the answer is 42, but the literal text answer to the ultimate question is written as forty-two which many interpret as 38.

However, watching Letterman the other night they had one of the actors on. They showed a scene that I do not remember from the book. Too many people in the scene and no sign of Trillian. Marvin needed to be a little bit bigger. And Zaphod Beeblebrox better have two heads as well. Of course that's just IMHO.

Zooey Deschanel!!!!!!
heart heart heart heart heart Trillian
On another note, what do you get if you multiply six times nine?
To: bert
The author himself merely channeled both the ultimate answer and the ultimate question, without understanding the significance of either.
He claimed to be unaware that the ultimate question: "What do you get when you multiply six by nine," does equal 42 in base 13.
Proof that God has thirteen fingers.

And Zaphod Beeblebrox better have two heads as well.
He does, but unlike the BBC production, his second head is under the chin of his original head. He flips his head back like opening a cigarette lighter, and up pops the second.
To: Houmatt
To: Kenny Bunkport
He does have a second head, but it is often hidden.
