In his short speech at the beginning, he needs to pull a Ross Perot. He needs to come out with charts and graphs to help explain projections regarding the future of Social Security.
The Social Security issue is extremely complicated, but it's important enough that the President would be wise to have faith that the public will realize its importance. We can lengthen our attention spans on this one occasion.

If I pissed off an abortion supporting murdering democrat, then I have done my job for the day!!! Thank you. What democrats just fully do not understand is, that I could give a rat's @$$ less what they say or think about me. The only thing that hurts my feelings is that democrats are allowed to run loose in this Republic, doing the harm to the Republic, trashing the Constitution, and murdering unborn children. I have declared a national energy emergency, I will make it a presidential decree for everyone to have at least one oil well in their backyard, we will drill until we drop, oil prices that is.
Until they show a corrected attitude adjustment, all the tree hugging green weeny states are to have their oil and natural gas supplies completely curtailed.
