Do you think the Jesuits at Fordham will be worried about this or could they care less? I imagine something like this would have an adverse effect on fundraising.
I intend to contact the Cardinal Newman Society and see if we can't answer that question in real time. Problem is, whereas (according to the article) Marymount didn't mount any opposition, I would expect Fordham to fight it to the death. I also suspect that by the time they were finished blackmailing the Archdiocese of New York with all the dirt they could dig up on them, they would win the battle to call themselves Catholic.
