It really brings tears to your eyes when you read that stuff. I wonder how many of those guys in the South Vietnamese unit were looking vainly to the skies for American aircraft?

We can't leave our Iraqi and Afghani friends like this. If those ARVN 18th division troops died on Highway 1 in 1976, they shouldn't have had to die in vain. Their sacrifice should be a reminder to us that must never leave our friends to die without mercy again.
