The Liberals would have continued lining their pockets with cash if they thought they could keep the public in the dark. That's the way they do business. They not only take public funds for partisan benefit, they spend billions on various public projects across Canada on a scale to buy votes that makes Tammany Hall look small. The Liberals are less Canada's Natural Governing Party than they are a national political machine that utilizes state resources to reward friends and punish enemies.
