The NK missile warhead story is as bogus as they come. It comes from a a dubious South Korean news source. The story rides on the 1998 launch that impacted in the Pacific.

The Chinese care very much and will keep us at bay by dragging us along with the six party talks. The NK only needs to postion a NK ship off our eastern seaboard with a missile of this range ( 65 KM) with a small nuke warhead (less than 10 Kilotons) and launch it to an altitude of greater than 50 to 60 thousand feet. When it cooks off the EMP will fry DC and NYC and Boston.

Yesterday a thread mentioned the Chinese taking Taiwan in 2006. If that is their intent then thye will not truly discourage the NK in any way.

Nuclear technology has progressed since the days of Three Mile Island and Chernobyl. Dont know about N Korea but I know Iran's own programme is benefitting from Russian and Chinese assistance, why do something alone first time and risk injury when you have an experienced big brother or two to help you.
