Saturday I had the good fortune of meeting Mark Goddard the former actor best known for his roles in Lost In Space and Johnny Ringo and many others at a local collectibles show. For the last 30 years or so he's been a teacher in Massachusetts, he is very conservative, very smart and very well spoken. He said that he was thinking about running against Ted Kennedy. I encouraged him and volunteered to help his possible campaign. I don't know how to contact him directly, but I bet if you send e-mails to howiecarr@wrko.com he will get them since he appears regularly on this show.

NO we would not be better off with a RINO than a democrat.
The RINO always votes on the left side. The only difference is the Republican Party pays for the RINO while the Democrat Party enjoys the pay off.

You must not be from New England. The last election a wealthy Black real estate investor went up against Ted. His name was Jackie Robinson, He was very bright and articulate. The Kennedy campaign tried all the dirty tricks they could, Jackie eventually lost but it was just amazing the dirty tricks the "Kennedy Kabal" pulled out of their bag.

It wouldn't be impossible to beat Teddy Kennedy. Very difficult, I agree, but the bloom is off the rose. For a couple of decades any kennedy could win any election, but in recent years they have started to lose.
Teddy is getting old, he is getting fat and ugly, and he can hardly be said to have much "mystique" left. The right candidate could very possibly beat him. I agree that it wouldn't hurt at all to be handsome and attractive. I never heard of Goddard, but it sounds like a good idea to me. Most current Massachusetts Republicans are pretty hopeless.

there has never been anyone really that good to go up against him.
Mitt Romney challenged him in 1994, the one year when Kennedy looked vulnerable, and still Kennedy won by 17 points. He's a fixture in this state. People love him. Good hair won't be enough to defeat him in this bluest of blue states.

Jack wasn't Ted K. wealthy, he could only produce about $1mil. on paper or in assets. He ran a terrible unmotivated campaign and had his a$$ kicked by that umpa-lumpa. To bad because he came across as a "normal joe".

I don't think it was amazing about the dirty tricks. The Kennedy's and the Clinton's are all the same. Look at the dirty tricks the demos are using now with the court and UN nominations. Oh, and I forgot the other scumbag, Kerry.

Start him running. Maybe the pickled liver will reach room temperature before election day. Maybe the Mass. idiots will notice the difference. Maybe the Mass. Supremes won't rule that the corpse is adequately preserved to last out another term without spoilage (I'm sure some alleged GOP Senator would agree to pair his vote with the corpse for the duration.)
To: thoughtomator
I'll send him money, only if he campaigns in the silver "space" suit they used to wear!.

To: Brainhose
If he doesn't run, could Paul Cellucci beat Ted.
