I'm glad you are not in control of the foreign policy decisions. Such myopic paternalism is quite dangerous. Making decisions about who should and shouldn't be trusted requires great skill, insight and life experience.

Trust building is a process. You must start to trust or else nothing progresses. People who always distrust first are usually unsuccessful in life.

Jurisprudence of this kind, at this level of negotiation, should be left to experts.

And successful people learn who you CANNOT TRUST. Evil IS Evil; not the people of Iran, but their current LEADERS, who are refusing to reliquish control to their populace.
