He believes Nichols' knowledge about other potential conspirators is central to his investigation, especially since the components found in March in a crawl space below Nichols' former home remained undetected for nearly a decade. The FBI has the reputation of being able to strain a gnat out of the Gulf of Mexico but in this case they can't seem to find a camel in a tea cup.

Prior to the OKC bombing, an Arkansas firearms dealer and his family were found dead in a river in Arkansas. All were duct taped and had plastic bags over their heads.
Was there any links with the OKC bombing? To the Skinheads?

Judge Matsch, of the Denver court, alluded to this during sentencing - he basically asked "if you would tell us who else helped you I could give you a lighter sentence". Showed that he himself did not buy the prosecution's theory of the case.

"Moore provided McVeigh with the binary explosives known as KINE-STIK (aka-KINE-PAK) which consist of 2 components ground ammonium nitrate and nitromethane and is approx. the size of a stick of dynamite." Far out, apparently it was lot more than a simple "fertilizer bomb".

The utterly predictable response, via AP, this afternoon...
An FBI spokesman in Kansas City, Mo., Jeff Lanza, said Wednesday that material found at the home, which he would not identify, was being examined for fingerprints and other evidence. He said there is no indication this material came from Moore and Nichols' letter would not lead to a new investigation.
``We believe the information that came out of the original investigation and we stand by the results of that investigation,'' Lanza said.
