The story doesn't say why Mrs. Jung was arrested and not Mr. Jung, since it was Mr. Jung who applied for the F-2 student visa that allowed him to bring his wife and child.

Why was she arrested?

What are the charges?

Why wasn't Mr. Jung arrested as well?

Bravo!

Quite excellent questions, all!

She's (he's) got it! As Professor Higgins would say. (I find it maddening that posters choose to post either ambiguous profiles or none at all!).

The only thing I can say with anything like certainty is that it would appear that Mr. Jung (or Mrs. Jung?) failed to
a) Get a decent lawyer, if any, or
b) failed to dot a bureaucratic "i" or cross a "t".

You have the personal angle to this story, what is the rest of it?

Our community is just as puzzled as you. Not the least of this insidious scheme is why has the Mrs. been shuffled between three prisons except for reasons of unexplained harassment.

I'm outa here for a while. Got to go to choir practice (Catholic, BTW, not Baptist like brother Jung).

If I'm not too tired, I'll be back to fight this important fight some more.

I'm too old and crotchety to argue this issue in a smooth, oily, ball-bearing way. I don't suffer fools gladly (and by default, I'm the judge of who the fools are).

Where the hell are those omnipresent evangelicals when you need 'em?
