I grant you that's a possibility, but that requires a lot of trust in the man leading the investigation and I have no reason to extend that without question.
Volker has given us no reason to question his integrity and has nothing to gain by taking on this thankless job. On the other hand, Lanny Davis has given us much to question his motives. Any one who goes to this known partisan for representation in testimony before a Republican controlled committee is suspect. Think about it, the Clintons and the Democrats would love to see the UN and the Security Council continue their anti-American agenda.
