I ran a youth group of about 20 young men and women. Most were not serious. I decided to focus the group on their faith. Most left over a fairly short period of time which left me 8 very serios young Christians who were willing to go on with things. About 18months later I had to give away leading this group but they went on to grow to about 30 commited young people. If you want the church to bloom and grow it's time to get rid of the dead wood. The only way to do that is to be firm and commited to what the church believes and that has to start from the top.
