Moral Absolutes Ping.

Why be a Catholic and disagree with basic Catholic teachings and standards? Why not invent his own sect?

New broom sweeps clean. I like it.

Let me know if you want on/off this pinglist.

Note: I don't mean to be disrespectful to Pope Benedict in comparing him to a broom. Looks like house cleaning time. I hope this is just the prelude.

Finally!!! Someone with the moral integrity and courage to tell the truth and to begin a long-over-due housecleaning. This is such a blessing!

I prefer to think of him sitting in the papal apartments quietly knotting together a whip from cords with which he will emulate his Master by going to cleanse the temple. This was my hope when he was elected, and my hope has been strengthened by this and the story about Spain (homo-marriage).

You are NOT being disrespectful. As a Catholic, I'd like to think of him as being The Terminator. :-)
