I am surprised at the ~lack~ of talk or interest in either Baffert or Lucas and their horses... Those guys aren't usually overlooked.

Yea, but they don't have anything near the favorite. I don't see Sort it Out doing anything, and there is going to have to be a massive Talledega-like accident with only Going Wild coming out alive for him to win. The only way Sort it Out will win is if they the horses ran the races each on their own track and let them all win.

I'm beginning to like Sun King and that inside track postition at 15-1.

Alex to show and Bellamy Road to place.

Baffert has Sort it Out and Lukas has Going Wild. Both horses are 50-1 shots. I don't get it either. Zito has 5 horses in the race, at least two of which have a decent shot. Maybe Baffert and Lukas took the year off or something.

If I remember correctly, there was a photo of a young lass in the Sun wearing less fabric than her last year! (if that is even possible)

Yea, I like Baffert too. I can see him having his horses in the race, but I just don't see whay Lukas put Going Wild in the race. He is no where near being this caliber. He came in dead last in his last race.

How do the horses get picked for the Kentucky Derby? Is it by how many wins they have?

I like longshots. I think post #19 has never won. Wish I could bet on Going Wild.

It's no fun if the favorite wins.

Woooohoooo. It's closer to start time.

I have GOT to find a 'bookie'. I miss the thrill of placing bets. (snicker)

The kids know not to get in the way when they come outta the gate...NOR to breathe too loudly for the next 2 mins. (hehehe) Once a year, Mommadooo goes wacko.
